TOPIC: North Central Missouri Artifacts

North Central Missouri Artifacts 1 year 3 months ago #86171

Hello,

Would appreciate help in identifying my latest finds. Base of blade is broken and measures 2.5 inches.

Drill measures 3.5 inches and is in tack.

Thank you.

I have added a few more that I would like help with too. What is believed to be the value of the drill and the blade even though it's broken?

Greetings from another Missourian! I hail from Ray County northeast of Kansas City. Are your artifacts field or creek finds?

Thank you for the welcome! Yes they were found in Missouri. I had 3 guesses...Snyder, Hardin, or Neuberger.

So you did not find the drill?
Nice "paddle" and at 3.5" really nice.

Jess B.
It is a "Rock" when it's on the ground.
It is a "Specimen" when picked up and taken home.

I reside in Chariton County and the hunting IS good, but also heart breaking as you can see with the blade.

Yes I found the drill. This is the first one I have ever found that wasn't broken. What are you referring to as "paddle"?
