Havent had much free time lately to update our blog! As a coach of my son's Little League time Summers are very busy playing ball - and I love it ;)
I did get a chance to get away with my son and two daughters for a quick 5 day trip down to Kentucky. I had a trip planned to Tennessee to purchase a large collection of artifacts and figured why not take the kids along and at least make a short vacation out of it. We spent most our time in Cave City, Kentucky where I rented a Cabin.  The kids had a blast as we stayed at Yogi's Jellystone Park. I have several friends around the country I have met thru collecting Indian relics and this gave me a chance to do a little Field Hunting while we were there.
My good friend Grady Steele of Monticello, Ky. came over to take us hunting on a 200 acre Tobacco field on Sunday. The kids wore out quick as it was a hot and muggy day, but luckily Grady and I both found a point within the first 30 minutes of looking! Grady found a real nice Harrodsburg Chert Hopewell and I found a nice Paleo dart out of Sonora most likely a Beaver Lake. Grady thanks again for taking time to visit us!!
Pictured below are The Kids - Grady and myself and my Paleo point in-situ.. I didnt realize until i got home that I had forgot to picture Grady's Hopewell... Guess we'll have to make the trip again one day!!
  GRADY IN SEARCH
