Gwyn I just rock hunt down the Frio river. It's right next to the house.;) Great way to blow off steam.

Where do you hunt fossils? My brother lives in Austin and has so great spots unknown to most. Some where on the San Gabriel? I think thats where he said it was...He has found some awesome stuff....

Went out looking for fossils and rocks this morning, but with the cold drizzle and my nose in a constant state of drip I only lasted an hour.;)

Headed out too Roland's dig site early in the morning. So excited I can't sit still. Who knew digging in the dirt could be so addicting.;)

Can't wait too hit the river again tomorrow and dig my brains out this weekend. This is getting so addicting.!

I was wanting too go this weekend for around 3 too 4 hours so 40 bucks. I have never been too this site yet so couldn't say if it is worth it. Hubbs doesn't dig it bores the poor guy too tears I'm the gopher as he calls me. He can't take me anywhere with rocks because I'll just wander off;). I'll let you know how this weekend goes and if it's worth the time and money involved.

Amber, I would like to know more about the pay dig sites and if you and your husband would like to join me if i decide to go. In your personal opinion is it worth the money? Times are hard and money is not flowing like it was in the past for me. The reason i asked you if you were going to take me digging is because i would like to go with some people to a pay dig site not just by myself.

I just browsed a few of the "artifact" stores and I must be ignorant or a pessimist because most of the "artifacts" look an awful lot like rocks I just kick around down in the river bed.;)
