We inherited a large artifact collection including arrowheads, stone tools, some shards of pottery and beads. As we know nothing about the items other than they are beautiful, I am looking forward to educating myself about them. We will also be interested in selling some items, but not all as there is sentimental value. My husbands grandfather collected these items during the 20's & 30's mostly in Colorado. Some may have been found as far west as WA state.
Oh my! What a beauty. I have several like it, too. If you believe Overstreet as the definitive source, it would probably fall under an Alberta [Plains Paleo] 10,000--8,500 B.P. However, I've found overlap in some of the classifications/categories. Looks like we're looking in the same general area of eastern Colorado. Nice to see a local here.
Any hints on downloading photos? Not having any luck, I browse files and double click on photo I want to post, thinking, thinking, thinking. Then nothing......
