Live in the UK but travel a lot. Been collecting lithics since I was a kid. Large European and African collections but not so many American pieces (yet). Lucky to have spent childhood in a Roman settlement area, not far from fossil-bearing cliffs with jurassic intrusions, a good beach-combing area and various neolithic settlements.
Also collect fossils & minerals, meteorites & impactites and primitive currency items.
LOTSW is filmed mostly in and around the small picturesque town of Holmfirth in Yorkshire. It’s an old mill town with its roots in the 13th Century, but around 200 miles North of where I live. I'm not far from London's Heathrow airport. Thanks for the kind words, and if you are ever in this neck of the woods then we’ve got a date!

If I ever get to fulfill my dream of visiting England (mainly the area where "Last of the Summer Wine" was filmed) I want to have dinner with you!! Your posts are excellent and I would love to have one hour of listening to you talk. A person could learn a lot from you!
