Well, there it is. That arrowhead pictured there started the whole thing. I found it at my Grandfather's farm in northeast Georgia back in the 1970's. The water dripping off the tin roof of the farmhouse washed it up. I was picking up stones and throwing them when I found it.
The Mississippian Focus Issue of the Central States Archaeological Journal is finished and at the printer. This has been a great year for the Journal with the time period issues ( Paleo-January,Archaic - April, Woodland-July)! If you are not a member of Central States you have missed out. It's not too late, you can join via the webs site and still acquire these fine issues. Next will include the double sized "Kentucky 50th", which will be stunning. Many thanks to everyone who contributed this past year.
Our site is growing so rapidly, we have to move our site to NEW servers! Please understand as we work through these technical upgrades. Everything should be done and EVEN FASTER in the next few days.
