Most arrowhead buffs already know me or know who I am. For those who may be new to the hobby or who have not crossed my path as yet, let me introduce myself. My name is Sam Williams and I reside in Central Texas. I was introduced to arrowhead collecting by my Grandmother, who picked up arrowheads for years in grape fields in Arkansas and Missouri. As a young boy, I would go to the fields with her to tie grapes. As she worked, she was always on the watch for another "Indian Rock". Grandpa thought it was foolishness but she managed to assemble a modest collection that my Father now has and that will, someday be mine. I have always retained an interest in relics and started a collection of my own in the mid 1980's. I own and administer Arrowheads Dot Com, which was originally launched as a means of sharing my collection with others. I never imagined it would blossom into what it is today. I also own PROSBB.COM, a website for collectors to discuss and show off their arrowheads and monitor suspicious activity of internet artifact sellers. This is a great place to get to know folks across the United States with similar interests. I also offer the Overstreet Indian Arrowheads Identification and Price Guide for sale at www.overstreetbook.com. This is an excellent source of information for the beginning as well as the advanced collector. Shortly after starting Arrowheads Dot Com in 1995, I recognized a growing demand for collector grade artifacts and began to offer some for sale. My involvement with Arrowheads Dot Com and collectors across the United States has provided me with the privilege and opportunity to handle and study more than 20,000 artifacts and develop the skills to provide professional authentication services. I utilize the latest ultra violet devices, microscopes and multiple printed reference sources when evaluating your artifacts. I have served as President of the Lone Star State Archaeological Society, Board Member for the Authentic Artifact Collector's Association, and continue to be an active member of several additional artifact related groups and organizations.
