CURRENT ISSUE, SPRING, 2007 issue #5

Exhibits cover the outstanding collections of Jim Crawford and Jim Sortor, both from Missouri. While there is a focus on Midwest types and materials, the artifacts hail from throughout North America. Featured Article discusses the online Live Auction platform and how it really works in conjunction with a live floor auction. The tips contained will prove invaluable for anyone who wants to participate in these events.

Next Issue: Summer 2007 (September release expected)

Three times a year the Museum of the Private Collector opens its doors to the public for a special showing. In the Summer, 2007 issue the exhibit focuses on Dana Harper and Bill German, considered by many to be among the legendary Texas collections. Included will be what many consider the two finest Andice's ever found in Texas.    And that is but a scratch upon the surface.

As always, we maintain the Shows and Events List, Catalog Section, Featured Articles, Subscriber Pages and more.

IF YOU HAVE NOT SUBSCRIBED YET, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO DO SO.  IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY SATISFIED WITH YOUR CHOICE, WE WILL PROMPTLY REFUND YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IN FULL.

We purposefully do not offer tours through the pages of the magazine. This way, you can experience them in full color print on quality stock for the first time. Our guarantee means you have no risk, so join in and we'll send out the current issue to you today!

The OffLine Magazine is released 3 times per year roughly on a schedule of Spring, Summer and Fall. The focus of the magazine is on vivid images of artifacts and the widely eclectic array of people who make up this wonderful hobby. We try to represent collectors and artifacts from every region of the US, not in every issue but on a whole as we move forward with new articles and the Collector Spotlights. The Collector Spotlights are quickly becoming a favorite with our subscribers as we continue to chronicle rarely seen artifacts from some of the top collections in the country. We consider these collections to be a part of what we call the "Museum of the Private Collector." The OffLine Magazine is a celebration of the collecting hobby as a whole and this particular "Museum."

Print quality is one of our primary concerns. The publication is printed in an oversize format of 8 3/4" x 12" and is full color throughout. The increased size and weight means the cost of production and shipping is very high, but we believe quality is what the hobby wants. That belief has proven to be true. Demand for past issues remains strong and the unavailability of the Premiere Issue has recently seen it offered on certain online auctions and has brought as much as $70 for a single copy.

In 2007 we started bringing the OffLine Magazine to selected shows and events where we register new subscriptions and renewals on the spot. We are also taking pictures of artifacts for our Subscribers for submission into the Subscribers' Section. Submission and publication is free of charge.

Remember, we guarantee you will want to continue receiving the OffLine Magazine, or we will refund your subscription in full upon return of the first copy you receive.

Enjoy !
